Adventures In Colorful Colorado

Hey, Hey!

I can’t believe that spring break is shortly around the corner already! After my wonderful and relaxing weekend in the mountains at my favorite place in Colorado, I got a little inspiration to share some amazing places and things to do in this wonderful state I call home! Whether you are from Colorado and looking for some activities to do on a staycation or thinking about traveling here I hope you find this helpful or inspiring to come to Colorado!

A Ski Resort: This one may be pretty obvious since Colorado is widely known for it’s incredibly snowy and vastly beautiful mountains that create a gnarly winter sport. Colorado offers many Villas for skiers and snowboarders alike. Vail, Copper Mountain, Breckinridge, Aspen, Monarch, and Silverton are to just name a few!

A Hot Springs: Just under four hours away from the city is this extraordinarily gorgeous and relaxing little town called Glenwood Springs. It has come to be one of my favorite places in Colorado for its amazing views, relaxing hot springs, rejuvenating Vapor Caves, and quaint Amusement Park. Like many other Hot Springs town, this place is great for couples and the whole family!

*Swimsuit from  Target! I love their swim suits and they always have so many options! I get one every year for my birthday for the last five years and I still have them all! Here are some similar ones! Simple Black SwimsuitCrochet Halter Top and Aztec bottoms, High neck Hawaiian Theme, Strappy Floral Bikini

The Sand Dunes: Although I do have to admit I have not been here in many years, I will never forget the phenomenal sights that this desert like place creates. Perfect for the whole family because if you are tired of snow but not sledding then you have found a happy medium! Many take to the sand mountains to sled down them and you will find sand for years to come in the clothes you wear!

Stay in the City: Denver, CO is such an opportunistic city with an endless amount of must try restaurants, exceptional museums, a unique zoo, and a fantastic nightlife. Some of my favorite places in the city include: The ViewHouse, Snooze, Landry’s Seafood, Voodoo Donuts, Denver Museum of Natural History and Science, Denver Art Museum, Denver Kid’s Museum, the Denver Zoo, Sports Authority Field, Coors Field, the Pepsi Center, and Red Rocks Amphitheater! *Many of the Museums offer FREE DAYS once a month!

Estes Park: An absolutely gorgeous mountain town where there are endless amounts of breathtaking views and wildlife roaming the forest. While visiting we took an adventure in a jeep up the terrific mountain slope to catch some of the incredible views and got an intensive history of Estes Park and Colorado.

Royal Gorge Skydiving: I have yet to go on this one crazy excursion but it has been on my bucket list for awhile now and I think I will attempt to take the journey this summer!

White Water Rafting or Tubing: I LOVE tubing anywhere I can because every venture out on a tube in water is an unforgettable experience you just cannot miss! One of my favorite places to tube is in Steamboat Springs because it’s a gorgeous town with many other activities offered.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo: Home to various exotic and local animals is the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo with an incredible view of the city! This Zoo has been rated number 1 by many travel magazines and I couldn’t agree more! Whenever I travel I try to stop by the local zoo and I have an extremely difficult time finding one just as wonderful as this one!

While Colorado has a bountiful amount of adventures to take on I narrowed it down to some of my personal favorite experiences here in Colorful Colorado! I hope you got inspired to try a new adventure or to come to Colorado in general!

Remember YOU are an inspiration to this world and have a beautiful soul no matter your struggles! I love you!

I would love to hear in the comments some of your favorite things in Colorado or even in you home state! and please share this post!
